Job Description

One Full-Time Contract to March 31, 2025 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)

The administrative professional we are searching for will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to Developmental Services Ontario Central East Region.

Our ideal candidate will have some very specialized skills and experiences to bring to this role. Specifically, we are seeking someone who has advanced skills in Excel and demonstrated proficiency in working within databases and preparation and/or management of statistical reports.

Position Requirements

  • Business College
  • Minimum 2 years related administrative experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of working in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Experience with database, data entry, statistical tracking
  • Committed to delivering high level of customer service at all times
  • Answer and screen calls professionally and manage all inquiries with tact and judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • A strong knowledge of community resources would be a definite asset
  • Provide general administrative assistance and coverage
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
  • A valid G Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle and business use insurance coverage OR access to reliable transportation
