Annual High-School Support
Educational Support
High-School students are eligible to receive annual funding for books and supplies.
Students must be First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Métis or Inuit and reside within the Greater Toronto Area to qualify.
To receive funding, email the following items to Highschoolsupport@miziwebiik.com. Please submit all documents below together at one time.
Please note: a new client registration form is required for each application (we cannot use the same form from previous applications)
- Miziwe Biik Registration form
- Completed ancestry form
- (OR) Copy of status card
- Proof of High-School enrolment (e.g. a timetable that includes school name, student name and grade OR letter from office with the same information)
Lee Awards
The Lee Awards are annual awards for Canadian Indigenous High School Students in the GTA from Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Applications for these awards are handled through the Miziwe Biik Development Corporation (MBDC).
The 2023 Lee Awards is now closed. Applications will reopen in Spring of 2024.
