To help fulfill its mission, LOFT is hiring a Human Resources and Benefits Administrator.

Job Summary

The Human Resources and Benefits Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting a range of human resources functions, with a primary focus on the administration of Benefits, pension, and student placement. To excel in this role, the incumbent must possess advanced MS office skills, enabling them to tackle intricate data entry and form creation tasks efficiently.

The Benefits Administrator is entrusted with the management of administrative data and employee records. They should be capable of independently seeing through assigned projects, demonstrating a high degree of organizational aptitude and resourcefulness, while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Manage LOFT’s Benefits and Pension program and act as the key liaison for benefit and pension-related queries. Oversee the entire process from enrolment, member status change to termination.
  • Coordinate and conduct educational webinars and training sessions for employees focusing on Benefits and Pension schemes.
  • Serves as main contact for employees and external stake holders for queries related to Employee Assistance Program and employee perks.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of the student placement program.
  • Create HR-related reports, resources for benefits, pension, and student placement.
  • Conduct data entry & standardized data processing task. Keep track of processes and information while maintaining records associated with benefits, pension, and student placement.

What You Bring
Must-Haves

  • Experience working in a HR or Administration capacity.
  • Solid understanding of Benefits, Pension administration and or Human Resources practices would be an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, for routine tasks, as well as the ability to leverage these platforms to create surveys and forms.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and meet set deadlines.
  • Maintains a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Service-oriented and capable of communicating with all levels of management with professionalism and tact.
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills with a track record of precision and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality and tactfully handle sensitive issues.
  • Familiarity with the not-for-profit sector is an asset.
  • Cultural competency and an understanding of working within an anti-oppression framework.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of efficiently managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language, is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
