WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Workshop

The WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Workshop provides instruction on hazardous materials in the workplace. Training topics cover the use of WHMIS information such as labels and material safety data sheets. WHMIS training is legally required for all employees who are exposed or likely to be exposed to a hazardous material or controlled product at the workplace.

This certificate can be used in all workplaces.

Requirements for entry

Participants need to identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) and must be currently residing within the Greater Toronto Area.

Attendees will need to fill out a new Miziwe Biik Registration form and Ancestry form which can be downloaded on our Forms page.
