To help fulfill its mission, LOFT is hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

 

 

 

Job Summary

 

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our recruitment processes and employer branding efforts. Your responsibilities will include reaching out to a diverse pool of skilled applicants and ensuring an exceptional experience for our candidates. From advising hiring managers on best practices to offering support to candidates at every stage, your involvement will be integral. You’ll oversee recruitment across the organization, manage metrics and data, and maintain employee records.

Demonstrating autonomy, organizational aptitude, and adherence to deadlines are crucial in this fast-paced environment. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to lead special projects aligned with the goals of LOFT. This role necessitates a keen eye for detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition and employer branding.

 

 

 

What You Will Do.

  • Develop hiring processes and interview toolkits for optimal outcomes.
  • Assist Hiring Managers in crafting engaging job postings for various platforms.
  • Ensure job postings reach relevant audiences for maximum traction and diversity of candidates.
  • Offer support to hiring managers in screening and interviewing candidates whenever feasible.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing job boards and seek partnerships with community job boards.
  • Manage Recruitment HRIS system and oversee recruitment-related tracking.
  • Optimize current tools and explore new features to streamline operations.
  • Evaluate new positions through job analysis.
  • Spearheading job fair initiatives across south and north location, establishing and nurturing relationships with colleges and universities.
  • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of job fairs.
  • Strengthen employer branding initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of a career page.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and analysis of candidate surveys and recruitment metrics to drive improvements.
  • Share talent acquisition best practices and stay updated on legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrate discretion, uphold confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters tactfull

 

 

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • Previous experience in HR or Talent Acquisition roles.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms
  • Knowledge of employer branding practices.
  • Familiar with recruitment & HR trends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and meet set deadlines.
  • Maintains a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Service-oriented and capable of communicating with all levels of management with professionalism and tact.
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills with a track record of precision and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Cultural competency and an understanding of working within an anti-oppression framework.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of efficiently managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to commute to the office once/twice a week

 

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Ability to communicate in more than one language, is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the not-for-profit sector is an asset.
  • Certification with an HR body, a strong asset
