Our Ontario certified teacher will be available for in person or online learning from 9 AM – 4:30 PM Monday to Friday.

We offer academic upgrading and academic supports from Monday to Friday from 9 AM – 4:30 PM. We provide school supplies and TTC tokens if needed. This program has proven to be a success for the Aboriginal people that have enrolled in it. Earning your diploma leads to opportunities in post-secondary programs, training and job opportunities.

The Ngindaasmin Academic program is an upgrading program for those that want to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. What makes this upgrading program unique is that the students have the opportunity to learn on their own terms, following a curriculum to support their education.

  • Enter into a Post-Secondary Program or register for an Apprenticeship Program

Miziwe Biik is able to offer Ontario Secondary School Diploma credits through our partnership with ILC. Miziwe Biik will register clients for whatever course(s) that are needed to graduate. Our teacher will support your academic needs as you work through the course material.

GED

The GED test in its current form is no longer available.  A new Canadian-developed assessment will be launched in spring 2024 to replace the GED certificate. Previous passing GED scores count towards the new assessment for 3 years (until May 2027)

How to apply

In order to register please email reception@miziwebiik.com and ask to book an appointment with an Employment Advisor.  The Employment Advisor will register you and refer you to our teacher for academic services
